Kingfisher Property Partnerships Limited was established in January 2001 and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Our permitted business is the establishment, operation and winding up of collective investment schemes.
In December 2005 Kingfisher Property Trustees Limited also became authorised and regulated by the FCA and enjoys the same permissions as Kingfisher Property Partnerships Limited. These two companies are able to act as managing trustee of unauthorised exempt unit trusts which are in turn feeder funds for limited partners.
Between Kingfisher Property Partnerships and Kingfisher Property Trustees, we operate more than 100 collective investment schemes on behalf of clients including Palmer Capital Partners, Frogmore, Great Portland Estates, Greycoat, Land Securities, Grainger, Brookfield, intu, Angelo Gordon, Kier, Hines, Orchard Street, Revcap, Tesco Property and Canary Wharf Group. As at September 2016, total funds under management were in the region of £15 billion.
These two companies are also authorised to act respectively as depositary and alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) for real estate funds falling within the scope of the EC’s Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).
